It’s a beautiful clear morning and the sun is up at 6:45. Soon we will go on to Daylight Saving. It should be a good day for pumping water up to the top tanks. Lots of sunlight for pumping and lots of water in the lower tanks.

I don’t feel bad taking flowers away from the garden this week, the wind and rain are going to trash the first Freesias, there are lots of daffodils, and the tulips will be over by next week. Bringing them back to the city means I can enjoy them for a bit more time.

The Hellebore sternii is looking beautiful and growing well in this slightly difficult place under the solar panels.
These olives are almost the last of a big batch which have been sitting under the table for the last year in jars in a box with a towel over it. The brine has to be changed every so often and if they were hidden away in a closet it would never get done.
